Positives: staff was very accommodating and helped with everything when we needed it. Negatives: despite limits tenters nearby had 5 vehicles, 3 large tents and were very noisy. Campground is in need of major upkeep. Many full time residents with dilapidated trailers and many trailers permanently parked and vacant. Few sites for actual campers. Sewer hookup also backed up- had to call plumber- which office did and prompt help was sent.

The Good: Very wooded back in site (#48) that could handle our 40 foot with room to park tow across front. A brook runs right behind the site. Site 48 required no leveling. Decent wifi all night. Friendly staff that was sympathetic but not real helpful.
The Bad: Older campground with lots of permanent residents. Sites are not large and some skill is required to back in. Pretty tight for large rigs. I mentioned wooded, so forget your satellite.
The Ugly: Electricity...or lack of. 30 amp site that supplied a variable voltage between 117 to 107 volts (our coach shut down at 109 for safety). Had to run generator to cool down and cook. Cable tv connections are available, but don't work. So you're charged for water and electricity to basically dry camp.

Very disappointed. RV sites dirty, overgrown and cramped. Road noise all night. Lots of full timers with poorly maintained RVs. Woke up early to gunshots--likely nearby hunters but still unsettling. We will not be back.

Very nice. It was like camping in the woods. Our space was completely shaded with a live stream along the rear. Roads are dirt. Some long term but not a problem. We will be coming back.

A real country campground - narrow unlevel dusty sites, shaded all day by big trees. The rushing babbling brook behind our site (#37, at the back of the property) drowned out any road noise form the country road out front. No bright lights at night except the Moon and millions of stars. We had WIFI in our site about 500 feet from the office. Marked down for real campground shower rooms; front shower building has tile stalls but no heat; back shower building has plastic stalls that sway when you shift your footing. Requires travel 10 miles to Ashland Shakespeare. For views, drive Dead Indian Memorial Road into the hills.
