Great location just outside of Ottawa. Pretty good wifi if you are lucky enough to be close to a hub. Bathrooms very dated. Sites are nice and level, and well spaced. A few over the air tv channels are available.

Good campground for overnight stay or couple of days, but if you need showers stay elsewhere. Dirty, lukewarm water, weird setup. On the positive side, it’s fairly close to Ottawa and an easy drive. The sites are spacious and private. No real amenities, which might be a consideration for some.

Stayed here in a 40’ motorhome with TOAD. Staff very friendly and helpful. Located us on a site near WIFI hotspot. In the early morning and evening we were able to get WIFI signal in our rig. During more busy times we needed to move closer to the hotspot itself. Very convenient location to exploring Ottawa which we did on bike, by kayak and on foot. 30 amp service, no sewer. Dump station available. Received Direct TV signal. Would stay here again.

We stayed in Wesley Clover once before out of necessity and it was decent enough. Our site was very level which was nice and flies were not an issue due to the cool weather. We decided to book two more weekends there and when we arrived for the first one we booked in and when we arrived at our site we realized there was a trailer already there. Obviously the campers from the previous night had not left. They were also nowhere to be found. We reported this but given it is only teenaged girls ever working there, they were powerless to do anything. It would be nice if there was a policy in place where they could either remove the trailer from the property or in the very least that they would keep track of those not leaving on time. We checked in an hour and a half after the supposed departure time and the office was unaware that they previous campers had not left. I believe there should be better effort to ensure people leave on time and there wasn’t any offer to refund us until we forced the issue. They did offer us to park at an open site until the other spot was available but that is pointless if we can’t set anything up. It was disappointing for the whole family and I would like to see changes made before we would stay there again.

Good enough for our 36ft 5th wheel. Vegetation between sites for privacy and close enough to Ottawa. Yes, there are lots of mosquitoes, not much a campground can do about that, that’s camping for ya. WIFI available for free close to office and some bathrooms. Cluster 1 did not have WIFI reception but at least we were away from the highway noise. Lovely campground. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Ottawa.

Stayed here in August 2018. Sites are nicely spaced apart but can be tight to get into. We have a 30ft 5th wheel. Quiet location, lots and lots of mosquitos since it’s in the woods. Showers are adequate, they could use some updating, and there is only 1 shower for the loop closest to the road. Good access to bike trails and water is good. We would stay again but maybe when the mosquitos are gone!

The Good: The sites were nice and were dispersed, providing privacy and it was close to Ottawa.
The Bad: The traffic noise from the nearby highway was excessive. Even wearing earplugs I could hear it every time I woke up during the night. Bathroom facilities were inadequate. For example, in the loop we stayed in, there were 44 campsites and 6 cabins. The one bathhouse had only one single shower stall, and the water was a teeth-chattering Luke warm at best. Fortunately, the lines to use the commodes were normally short so wait times were not intolerable.
The Ugly: The Ontario Wildlife Commission has apparently placed a priority on Wesley Cloverleaf Park and has well stocked it with the best mosquitoes they can breed. For a wooded area within a generally urbanized area this mosquito habitat is amazing. Frequently, mosquitoes are more of a nuisance after dark. Not here. And their density is higher than many rural, forested areas.
Would we ever stay at Wesley Clover or recommend it to anyone? Absolutely not. Staying in a Walmart parking lot would be preferable.

We were looking for a place to camp that would be convenient for visiting Ottawa. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities other than an occasional shower. We stayed on weekdays in late May (after the long weekend) in an 8 metre (25 foot) motor home.
This is a very nice, very conveniently located campground. The sites are close together yet most are large and surrounded by trees to provide some privacy. Most site are level or need some minor leveling. Most are back in although there are a few pull throughs. The sites in clusters 1, 3 and 6 are mostly shaded and sites in cluster 9 are full sun. The showers are clean with hot water. There was good wifi coverage near the washrooms and office. We had good phone and data coverage on our ATT and Verizon phones while roaming on Rogers service.
There is an entrance to the Capital Pathway about 1 km (1/2 mi) east of the CG, and Parliament Hill is 20 km (12 mi) via bicycle on the Pathway.

Stayed here on 2 separate nights in Sept-Oct 2017. Leafy, private sites, quiet both times on the campground (hum of highway noise from 417). Shuttle into Ottawa on weekends. No wifi but okay cell signal. We would stay here again, with many available discounts, we thought it was good value for $.
