Five star hiking and three star campground. The trails are by far the best in Ohio, and maybe the best anywhere we have been in the US. Unfortunately the campground is very crowded, unlevel and muddy. Bath houses were ok and the full hookup section was a little better. Yeah for full hookups in a state park.

Beautiful park. Horrible sites. Never been so slanted even with blocks and leveling jacks. Sites are also short and narrow. Read the directions. GPS won’t take you to the entrance.

We stayed here two nights and it wasn’t enough time to enjoy all the beautiful trails nearby! Easy back in for our 33ft Class A. Grounds were beautiful, spacious and facilities clean. We plan to come back and visit the nearby shops, spa, brewery and restaurants.

The scenery and nature trails of the park are easily the best in Ohio. Waterfalls, giant cliffs, gorges, sandstone caves. It’s dramatic and beautiful. Five star.
On the other hand, the campground is easily the worst in Ohio. Cramped spaces. No rangers or hosts. Big rigs on tiny spaces with tow vehicles parked everywhere. Almost every camp site has a large mud pit. Some are *all* mud. They don’t even mow the grass. One star.

Wow! I was amazed to see this state park with only 3 stars. Wow! In my opinion this is the best state park I have ever experienced. Very well maintained and clean. Amazing hiking and fishing. Full hookups, wow, I have never visited a state park with full hookups that alone is worth 5 stars, way to go OH. The store had everything you could ever want. I had zero cell service and I’m still giving you five stars. Staff was super nice. Has an outdoor theater and huge pool both were closed for COVID. However I’ve never seen a nicer outdoor theater. I was so impressed we stayed four days and had amazing hikeseveryday. I love this park!!!

Third time staying at campgrounds don't. Went over labor day weekend. On Monday men's restroom had no toilet paper, smelled and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 2 days. Pool was emptied for the season.Dumpsters overflowing with garbage. Notice the camper
host was gone for the season. The park is awesome. Will camp outside the State Park next time.

The campground is nothing special, but the hiking is great. The caves and water features are spectacular for Ohio.

A few tent only sites. In the main campground, a few gems at the ends of the loops. But you pay an electric price even without the RV.
