This is a pleasant park that suited our needs for a quick overnight. We got a courtesy call at 3:30 to check on our projected arrival time just as we pulled into the park. Rick took care of an easy check in and directed us to lot 67 with full hook-ups. This is a park with a lot of long term residents. . I’d suggest going for a higher numbered lot away from the office congestion and long term set ups that concentrate nearby. Our quiet and level spot was across the road from a pretty lake with a good old swimming hole. The easy access to 33 will make our journey east an easy start tomorrow.

I would like to rate it 4 1/2. The managers were very accommodating. We called ahead of time and although the office was not officially opened, they would take care of us. They then called back telling us that the bathhouse was not open yet (too early in the season) but they did have an outhouse and wanted us to know before we got there. We decided to go anyway and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a small campground on a small lake. It’s clean and organized. Our site was gravel with good hookups. It was convenient yet quiet. We would to back again if in the area.

Too bad I can't give no stars! The managers left me high and dry at 6pm despite a reservation made a week in advance. The man apologized but the woman obviously couldn't have cared less. No-one had a reason why they didn't call to say they wouldn't honor the reservation even tho they had a week to do it. I had to find a hotel. I wouldn't trust this place for future travel.
