A wonderful place to spend time with the family. Has lots of activity areas for the kids. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The beach area is always clean and neatly kept. Have a small town close by for take-out convenience, gas station and discount store in one direction and a grocery store and a [bad] a couple miles in the other direction with reasonable prices, clean and the employees are always helpful and friendly. There are plenty of resources if you have forgotten supplies and Athens is only a few miles to the west if you get homesick for bigger city surroundings with great opportunities to meet people from near and far. It is an all-round great place to spend quiet time. We go for several weeks each summer because we enjoy it so much

Very easy in and out right off HWY-50
Large campground. Horse trails, basketball, volleyball, lake, firewood. Kids play area is small.
Roads are gravel/ dirt(in some places) it rained when we arrived so it was a little muddy.
You can camp on the hill or down by the lake.
Not a bad price for what we got. $25.
