We love this place! Arrived after hours and could not find the camp host. Only staying overnight on the way to Maine. Found site c-17 and set up camp. Hours later we reached the host. Great people! No issues at all. Not sure what is available to do here but found this to be a nice lake front site. Would definitely stay again! The only negatives is that it is pretty hilly and the closet shower house is down a steep hill.

Beautiful, quiet, spacious sites in the forrest surrounding a lake. Everything was in tip top shape and a friendly staff.

Definitely need to be aware of low bridges in the area. Office very accommodating as we had some trailer problems and had to stay an extra day. No internet no cell service where we were. Not too far from the commissary. Beautiful area. We camped in a 40 ft fifth wheel.

What a find! We stayed in space C-14 which had a deck overlooking the beautiful pond. Although it is short, if you have a smaller van or camper, this is a great location. Most of the campsites are quite far apart and have fire rings and picnic tables. The bath house has three shower stalls each of which were clean and well maintained. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers, $1.50 and $.75 respectively. Bring quarters but change is available at the office. Firewood is available for purchase. Store has fishing bait and lures. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are also available. Very quiet area. We camped in a 22' Airstream Interstate van and look forward to returning!

Campground has gone down hill in recent years. Bathhouse, laundry room, restrooms and showers were dirty & moldy. Lake looks dirty & unclean!(Overgrown with weeds, pond scum, etc.) Entire experience has been a steady decline, noticed over the past several years. Mgmt & staff have changed and not for the better. Experience level is down, attitudes are up. New reservation system no longer allows you to reserve a specific campsite. Why would you bother reserving then? Our family has camped here for many years and we are now looking to camp elsewhere.

Checked into site C14,beautiful private spot. My 20' travel trailer fit snugly but the view over the lake was well worth the effort. Would not want to try to park any thing much longer. One of the nicest spots we have ever stayed in, wish we were here longer.

Beautiful campground. Lots of trees but our antenna worked and we got some channels. Wifi was down that was a bummer but our hotspot worked. Gun fire from the ranges at West Point but you are on a military base. What do you expect? Had no cell phone coverage though. Would go back

Beautiful area, but access road is a bit narrow in places if you are driving a class A motor home. Had a very nice site and we really enjoyed our visit. The physical location in the hills made our internal wi-fi a little spotty. I am a bit surprised that there is not a connection offered by the site given its size. The rec staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had difficulty understanding where our site was once we got there. Once we got settled in and started a fire I went around and picked up the garbage that littered the site. In the morning we had to wait an hour for the bath facility to be cleaned. Once we were able to go in I couldn't believe how dirty it was. For a military reservation I expected the place to be a little more clean.
