Great Place! Stayed 5 nights. The village of Lake George is 10 minutes away ! But…. as for the campground, very efficiently ran. We requested a site that was far from pool, family activities since it was just the two of us. With over 500 sites it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed at Site# 3502. All the sites as we could see were large with plenty of trees/shade/privacy. Went tubing on Schroon River and swam off the beach. Will most definitely go again!

This park is huge there are hundreds of sites. If you’re here in the summer there are tons of things to do if you have kids. Swimming pool game center putt putt golf just to name a few. The site we were assigned to was too small for our fifth wheel so the staff found a pull through for us. This place only has two laundry facilities. Did I say there were hundreds of sites. My wife went to one of the laundry rooms and three of the six washer machines were out of order. One of the six dryers was out of order. You would think with a facility this big and at this price point they would keep their equipment functional. My wife said the laundry room was absolutely filthy and no place to sit. In 16 weeks on the road she said it was the worst one she had ever been in.

Recently stayed there with our 40’ 5th wheel from 7/12/19 to 7/15/19. Staff is great. Our 1st site was not ideal for a 5th wheel but after talking with the front desk, we quickly changed our site. Not all the River front sores have access to the Schroon River. Place is pretty big so a golf cart or bikes are recommended. Mosquitos can get feisty, so bring bug spray.
Overall we had a blast and would go there again!

Just OK. We stayed here for 3 nights following the July 4th weekend. BIG mistake. The park was packed to capacity and we had constant power issues. To the park’s credit, they moved our site to another area of the campground which was much nicer and had no issues. This is a typical resort type campground. Pool, small pond with beach, arcade, boats go rent, playground, and dog park. If you like this kind of experience, then it’s OK.

Spent three nights here just before Memorial Day at Site 52 (pull thru 30 amp). Overall a great experience. Pro’s: Responsive Staff, easy access, amount of activities and amenities; cleanliness of facilities; Dog Park (the best we’ve ever seen). Con’s; Highway noise; site sizes.
When we arrived, we found the site we had reserved was extremely small and tight (back in). The staff was incredibly accommodating and switched us to a pull through site. We were there on the three weekdays proceeding Memorial Day so we had the campground to ourselves. The electric at the new site wasn’t on so I went back to check in and by the time I had walked back to the rig, they had the maintenance guy there fixing it already. VERY responsive. The last night we were there, people started flooding in. This is a BIG campground with lots of things to do so be prepared for a bit of crowding during peak times. It was also very close to great Hiking (recommend Cat mountain, great view of the entire lake) and Lake George. You will get some highway noise as it’s right off I87 but it seemed to die down relatively quickly in the evenings. Overall a great experience.
