We were looking for a campground near Rochester while we awaited a part for our RV. We're self-contained and don't use the comfort stations. We stayed on a week day in the off-season.

This is a large, very nice campground. Most sites are relatively large and shady. All have electric - no primitive nor full hook-up sites. The walk to and along the lake is beautiful. There's a nice beach for swimming. Best verizon cell coverage is Loop D. Didn't like the street lights around the campsites - avoidable with campsite selection.

Clean restrooms. Good state park.
