A little rustic but bathrooms have been remodeled. Close to historical park and Champlain bridge. Lots of rain so many sites were soggy. We were in site 30 which was muddy and narrow.

We were here 5/20-5/21/19. Site 9. Great spot and view of the Lake and Bridge from NYto VT. Staff leadership was excellent. There had been a lot of rain and many sites were too wet to drive into. We have a Coachman Freelander 29KS toeing a Fiat. There are no services st the site and getting water into our dank was a challenge. There was only one water connection that you could screw a hose onto and it had cracks with the result that it sprayed every which way; however we were able to fill our tank for the two days we are here. The Verizon cell service was excellent.

We really enjoyed this campground on Lake Champlain. It was quiet on a fall Friday but I imagine it’s a busy place in the summer. Bathrooms were older but clean with hot showers. There is a neat tower to climb up in for great views and an old fort to explore across the road. Good resting place.
