Very friendly staff. We stopped here on our way cross country. We had an emergency that caused us to stay longer. They were very generous to accommodate us without having to move sites! Clean rest rooms. Laundry facilities. We felt safe and the campground was quiet.

Nellis AFB is always our favorite place to stay when we are in Las Vegas. The Staff are so kind and friendly. We were in Site 37 which has nice shade. We love the walking path for our dogs and cat. Take the gate near the Medical Center.

We stayed there for a couple of nights in June 2024. It was our first FamCamp and I鈥檓 afraid that I鈥檓 spoiled now. The park was clean and very nice. Since I鈥檓 DAV we have to check in with the visitors center but it was closed when we arrived on Saturday so accessing the base for my wife was a bit more of a struggle than usual but all of the personnel were super nice and accommodating. .

We stayed here for 3 weeks on Site 22 (wagon wheel). Facilities were dated, but clean. The area offers so much other than gambling. We will be back.

We stayed here in Aug of 2023 and it is probably one of the nicest military FamCamps we鈥檝e ever stayed at. It is well maintained, clean, and people who work there are friendly. We stayed in the newer area and will request the 鈥渨agon wheel鈥 area next time (they are slightly larger). But our spot was great! We did have a hard time finding the campground but it was dark and late and probably operator error.

One of the most amazing military campgrounds we鈥檝e stayed at. Friendly staffs! they have monthly activities for the family & monthly gathering for the people that stays here ? clean bathrooms, fur baby paths to walk them, and 2 off leash dog parks ?playground is available for the kids too! they have lots of pokestops around the campsites! (If you love playing pokemon go lol). Shoppet is probably 4 to 7mins drive from the campsite they have propane, gas & water refill as well ?Bx and commissary at the other base so you have to leave & re enter probably 10 to 15 mins drive from the campsite. Military hospital and clinic , veterinarian (appt. Only)
if staying @ the campsite we are allowed to use the community pool at the club house
They have activities like potluck, pool party, wine & food tasting, game truck, holiday celebrations.

I am amazed on how this FAMCAMP is it is the best that i have been at. I have been at over 15 military camps and this is the most organized and best layout that i have seen yet. Congrats to the command and there MWR staff. The staff was helpful and friendly they worked with me and moved me to a site that help accommodate my rig. I recommend this camp to everyone that wants to be spoiled by the AirForce. GREAT JOB.

Best RV park we芒鈧劉ve been to. Staff is very nice and professional. Full hook ups, close to shopette. Just a few minute drive to BX & commissary though you have to leave the base and reenter. Guards are all pros. No diesel on base but only a 5 minute drive away. Has everything you need and they allow selected RV services to come on base to service & wash rigs. You can even get your windshield replace or repaired on base. There is a new rule that you can only stay 180 days in a year. You can no longer leave for 28 & come back. No homesteading. I believe this is now USAF wide.
