Do NOT follow Goggle maps. It will take you to the main gate which is not for RVs.
Follow Pasture Road to the end and turn left, then go to the South Gate.
The instructions on this app don鈥檛 specify which gate to enter.

Good camp. Level concrete slabs . Big rig friendly. Spaces wide with gravel beside slab. No shade. $42 a night. Amenities close and staff very friendly and helpful . Must use South Gate for entrance. Main gate to narrow.

Called and made a same day reservation. We wanted to break up our trip from Reno to Great Basin National park. The hook up were great and they provide a free laundry room the slabs are level and big enough for a 45 footer. If you can the south gate which is a commercial vehicle gate is the way to go. I went out the front gate and it was a little tight about 6 inch on each side.

Failed to make reservations when arrived at the main gate was told 芒鈧搕hey do not do things that way芒鈧 and told we could drive around on base but would have to leave. Drove to local town and stayed at a casino for $15. Do not recommend.

My question would be someone reading this may not post it even though the content is good and helpful.
Our intent was to go to the naval air station and stay at the fam camp. After reading the reviews we looked for other places to stay. We found the Bonanza casino with full hookup at $15 per day. We have stayed in bases all over the United States with our RV. Most of them were running 7 to $15 a day. Judging by the reviews what would make these people think they could more than double the cost. The famcamps that we have stayed in that were the best were all run by and managed by military people.

Nice concrete slabs but not worth going out of the way from Reno. $30 a night. You have to navigate your rig or disconnect somewhere to check in at the lodging office in the middle of the small base. Office address on receipt takes you to the main gate. No diesel on base. Should have kept going into Reno and paid a little more at a private park or KOA.

This facility is occupied mostly by active duty. Several of the occupants have multiple large dogs (including a pit bull) that they let run on the loose. I had a couple of these large dogs charge me and my small dog right in the front of the owners. They were rude when I asked them to lease their dogs. They also do not clean up after them as there is poop laying around. This RV park needs better supervision that insures all who stay there abides by the rules which allows a pleasant stay for everyone.

RV park was easy to find, and near all Base facilities. The RV sites are level, but no shade of any kind, and no dog park availible. The Movie Theater is right across the road and it's free, the WIFI is great. Price is $30 a day or $180 a week, in my opinion it is way over priced compared to other Military Family Camps.

The least of all the military camp grounds we've stayed in. The people are lovely. The grounds are less than minimal, certainly at $30 per night. No trees, no picnic table, no attempt at shade at all. The commissary is fine, people are friendly, the jets are inspiring. We won't be back.

We stayed overnight her several years ago and the park was really nice and clean. This year we stayed overnight but really over priced for the condition of the park now. 38.00 but the park is not being kept up anymore. Spaces are level which makes it nice and wifi was good. Looks like lots of permanents in there now.
