This campground is now called Willow Creek Campground. The road from the highway to the turnoff is very smooth, the ~1/2 mile from the main road to the campground is slightly washboard, no problem. The campground is suitable for up to 30’ trailers with wide roads, no overhanging trees and three pull through sites. Seems to be very well maintained. Don’t miss the Ward Charcoal Ovens, a short walk from the campground.

Oct 2020 - Stayed one night. Road in from highway is ROUGH. Had to drive 5-10mph. Would not have gone had I known in our 28ft class C. Trucks and OHV will have less difficulty. Water was turned off when we got there, or we would have stayed longer. Nice campsites with shade structures in the midst of juniper/pine woods. Pretty secluded, only 3 other vehicles there with us. Didn't make it over to the actual Charcoal Ovens (.6 mile hike from camp) but they seemed impressive from a distance.
