Very nice park. The camp host is awesome. She made us feel very welcome. Will be back.

Generatorland. It芒鈧劉s like a theme park where the only attraction is the sound of generators. And they don芒鈧劉t follow quiet hours either - generators all the time, despite the posted 芒鈧搉o generators during quiet hours芒鈧 signs. Other than that? Very nice - large flat sites, well spaced, nicely maintained, good bathrooms, etc etc. But it芒鈧劉s hard to enjoy with generators running around you non-stop so people can charge their phones and watch movies. If you芒鈧劉re in to boon-docking you may want to find a more remote site.

I had no problem getting potable water at the dump station. In fact, the dump station is top shelf. Maybe in the past while work was being done on the dump station there was no hose for potable water, but everything is fine now,

Boulder Beach is a very scenic place to dry camp overlooking Lake Mead. The trees and foliage make it feel like an oasis and provide a bit of privacy and separation between some sites. We were there in winter and it was pretty chilly at night but I'm sure it would be intolerably hot in the summer without the trees for shade. Plus it attracts lots of birds who flit round in them, much to our entertainment. Even with short days and some shade, we were able to generate enough solar power. We Had to manage it a little but we didn芒鈧劉t struggle. Navigating the loops was no problem with our 50+ foot bumper pull. Sites are level and pretty generous. We had plenty of room in our pull-through to unhook the truck as well as unload our sidecar from the toy hauler. The sites are equipped with fire pits as well as those massive national park concrete tables. The campground as a whole is well-maintained and clean. Water spigots are readily available. We were even able to stretch a hose to one to fill the trailer without moving. There was no potable water available at the dump station during our stay. It looks like there was some issue and it was cut off -- not sure if that was temporary or permanent. But again, plenty of water access in the campground loops. The restrooms are standard issue national park style with stalls and sinks but no soap. They are cleaned thoroughly daily. We had no issue finding a site in the off-season but I imagine it's super busy other times of the year. It's a nice walk down to the lake and along the foot path past the ruins of the Hualapai Lodge. It芒鈧劉s well worth a stroll to take in the scenery and history. NOTE: there seems to be a lot of confusion between this national park campground and the Lake Mead RV Village next door that offers full hookups. So read the reviews carefully to make sure you芒鈧劉re looking for info on the right one.

We loved this campground, where we stayed about 3 weeks. Well kept, super friendly camp hosts, beautiful scenery with lots of great hikes in the surrounding area. Super clean bathrooms as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Don芒鈧劉t plan on getting potable water at the dump site if you are in a class A. There are no hose ends at the potable spot or at the dump spot!

Great well-kept campground, one of those that make you want to stay awhile. Currently only A-D loops open while they renovate the other half. Some construction noise during the day. A-D loops renovated recently, nice level concrete pads, some pull-thru. Clean bathrooms,no showers. Lots of trees with shade potential on many sites. Decent FREE WI-FI! $20, $10 w/ senior park pass.

With National Park Pass, our stay at pull-thru site 147 was the best primitive RV site thus far. Just $10/day with plenty of tree canopies to shaded our site, the warm wind becomes cool wind through our trailer in an instant. No shower, but toilet and sink are clean, and they were just short walking distance away. Water spigots were scatter throughout the campground within easy stroll distance. Exiting boulder campground to Lakeshore road is less than 2min away. Not every sites here have good shade, just our site was one of the best in Boulder Beach Campground. No direct access to the beach, but with 4wheel drive vehicle, we parked right on Lake Mead shoreline and and spend hours playing with water there.

The proximity to Hoover Dam, the great trails, the beach, the smooth bike riding area were all surpassed by the amazing view of a huge clear blue lake surrounded by colorful mountains. And we had a firepit. A flowering tree beside our trailer attracted hummingbirds and we enjoyed seeing many other "new to us" birds.

The rocks along the road and at the sites are very hard to maneuver around to get into the sites. Saw one man hit a rock and damage the front corner of the rv.
