Sept 2021 Mostly seasonal trailers. But the good spots along the creek are for travellers. Sights are tight.

Spent the weekend here and were surprised at how friendly and welcoming the staff and seasonal renters are! With our 30’ trailer, we had a pull through site which was level. The campground only offers 30 amp electrical and water hook up-no sewer, however there is a dump station and they offer ‘honey wagon’ campsite service. The wifi was good. There are lots of mature trees that offer some shade on each site. The pool was very clean however the gate entering the pool was not secure. There are a number of sites along the river and these sites seem to get booked first. The playground is no longer in use. There is a small camp store with bare necessities. Although this location is rural and in a lovely area, we could hear the traffic from the highway. There were lots of dogs and they all seemed to be well under control. This is a nice campground to use as a base to explore the south shore!

Perfect! Made reservation on line and they were quick to confirm and communicate with me when I was running a couple of hours late arriving. Put us in a great shady spot backing right up to the river. Owner even came by to make sure TV and everything else was up and running to our satisfaction. If your looking to explore the Mahone Bay Area this is a great base camp. If we are ever back in the area we will stay again.

Love, love, love our stay. Our site is overlooking a creek where dog and daughter are having an amazing time playing. Had no idea they had a pool but they do and it is quite nice. This a low key, super friendly place where the owning family is just amazing. Campers are terrific and even shared some strawberries with my parents, who were also camping. Stayed here to do the Oak Island tour (which was AWESOME) but I would return to this campground just to visit and relax.
