Nice park. We had a wooded site, which equals mosquitoes , but that’s a fact of life here. 110 electric sites had better views of the water, but seemed a bit close together. We liked the privacy of the wooded sites. Two washers and one dryer were busy all the time, so plan accordingly. Good free WiFi at the office.

Fall 2019 we went to Nova Scotia for a month long trip and much to our surprise a major hurricane followed. We looked at weather maps and the track of the storm and decided to ride out the storm at this campground. The campground is beautiful with nice views and protected campsites. The owners were very gracious. The oysters were delicious and fresh daily.
Our van sustained no damage from the storm and the owners brought us bottles of fresh water when the electricity went out. Great location, beautiful views, super nice owners!

Not much to add but wanted to get a 2019 review out there. Lovely campground with terrific views, nice facilities and very friendly owners. The setting is park-like with terrific privacy between sites. We were in a wooded site so didn’t get the benefit of the view of the ocean, but there is a large field with park bench to take in the view. We arrived early well before check in time. They had a rare power outage that morning for a few hours and were letting people check out late so they could get their showers and things done, but we were able to move in as soon as our reserved site was vacated by the previous guest.

This was a great find. View of the bay & cliffs beyond were beautiful. This campground has a variety of sites both wooded & open. They even have cabins. Bathrooms were very clean. Laundromat was very nice. Staff & owners were very nice. Lobsters & oysters at the little dining room. Will definitely return. Close to a lot of great hiking trail & scenic overlooks.

This campground was positioned on a bluff over a very scenic bay. We enjoyed it. Can’t give 5 stars because 1st night we were down wind of sewer smell, but move sites and problem solved.

What a wonderful find! On an island of scenic campgrounds, this one is a gem. Much love and care put into the design of the cabins, clean white stone dust roads, glorious views, and yummy lobster at the front desk.

Lovely spot with views to the ocean. Some sites are wooded, some are in the open. $30CDN for a site with no hookups, which works for us, but plenty of other options available including cabins. Lobsters and oysters available. $1.00 for five minute shower. Nice bathrooms.

Very nice, spacious and private wooded sites. The lack of the 5 star is that you have to pay with coins to get a shower.
