Nothing fancy but really beautiful scenery. No issues other than the site was quite wet after a day of rain. Not a lot to due in the park other than beaching and relaxing. The town of Pictou is about ten minutes away and has some nice shops. Checkout Gorhmann Knives. The water hook up was strange and we could not use our filter. And the back flow valves on the water tap created an air leak so air kept getting into the line. If approaching from the Wood Island ferry, take the first left. Our GPS had us drive south into Pictou then turn around and drive back to the ferry to turn onto Ferry Road (which is not signed). Overall, I would absolutely stay there again. But book early!

Lovely Provincial Park. Nova Scotia does a great job with their PP’s. Level, wooded sites. Hookups available in an open field with ocean views. Great beach walking, just be mindful of tide. Rained a lot and some standing water at some sites, but roads and parking area at all sites remained adequately non-muddy. Highly recommend.

Stayed 7/24/18 in site 78, loop C. Very nice site but road noise. Nice park, clean rest rooms. Beach was nice. Staff was friendly. Another great Provincial Park.

Great campground. We were on motorcycles and were tent camping. This park is in a great location and was very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended.
