This was a comfortable campground to use as a launching point for driving the Cabot Trail. Our back in site was near the entrance and was grass.Staff was nice, bathrooms and showers worked well and were clean. Laundry machines were all new. We would stay here again.

Nice setting and scenery, but the facilities are not up to par. Wi-Fi is a 芒鈧揾it or miss芒鈧 experience, and you are often dropped in the middle of an activity. They have 6 new private showers, but there was no hot water in any of the showers at 9 PM. Other RVs are parked very close to you. End sites (with a view of the lake) are $10 premium over normal charges. Would look to stay elsewhere when next in this area.

While this campground gets an excellent rating from good Sam it is your typical private campground in an open field setting. It has the facilities but we don芒鈧劉t use them. The trailer to one side of us was 12 feet from us. All that said it worked out fine for our purpose as a place for overnights on our car drive around the Cabot Trail. Staff were friendly and helpful.
