We stayed at Peyton Woods for 4 nights while visiting the Twillingate area. The campground is very convenient to everything in the area so is the place to stay. There are some nice campsites in the park but unfortunately we weren’t in one of them. Our site, which appeared to have been recently created, was right along the road as you enter the park. The dust from traffic going in and out of the park was awful and the site was quite small. It did have full hookups so that was great. Although they advertise free wifi we were never able to hook in to it, even when in the main building. When visiting the Twillingate area it really is the only place to camp and the convenience to the area trumps the drawbacks mentioned especially since you’re out most of the day touring the surrounding area.

July 2023: Perfectly adequate campsite near downtown Twillingate. Don't expect a water view from your campsite, but a short walk with get a great sunset view. Site was gravel, level enough, and services all worked. Did not use the laundry nor showers, but they appeared to be at least average or better. Good location for exploring Twillingate. Would stay again.

Friendly staff and excellent showers and bathrooms. WiFi a little weak. We stayed in backwoods area and had a quiet and relaxing visit. Great access to town and to a nice walk near small beaches.

Disappointed with campsite. ...on side of hill....close to next campers....no view!

Must have caught the check in staff on a bad day as they were unfriendly and indifferent.

Nice spot for touring Twillingate from. Good showers and washrooms. Excellent laundry: 4 washers and 4 dryers which is impossible to find laundromats around here.
