Very close to L’Anse aux Meadows. We had a wooded site, more private than the open gravel area. Our site had gravel parking with a small grass area and picnic table. We did have to level some. We got fresh baked bread and pie from the office - delicious. WiFi adequate. Only two showers and toilets, so there was often a wait. Nice, clean place overall.

Great little campground - fresh baked goods available in office. Also cooks some breakfast foods and moose burgers. Nice bathrooms - no sewer hookups - just water and electric. Water pressure was weak and the water was a little brown but OK to drink. Very friendly staff - would recommend if your visiting L’anse Aux Meadows - Viking Site.

Very nice rv park. Gracie and her daughter are very nice and accommodating people. They bake home made bread and pies. Excellent showers and bathrooms. WiFi a little weak but ok. Great access to town and Viking interpretive center.

This is a great little gem of an RV Park near the end of the road on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland. Everything is kept in the best condition by the owners. It is close to all the attractions (L’Anse aux Meadows, Saint Anthony, etc.). The owner even cooks really good and reasonably priced meals for guests. Showers are clean and modern, and the park is quiet. Would highly recommend this park as a place to stay!

This is a pleasant little RV park, just a few minutes from L'Anse aux Meadows, that exceeded our expectations. ?It's not a really scenic park, but the sites are adequate. ?The colorful little picnic tables add a nice touch. ?There's a lot of gravel, some grass, and we were able to get level without much effort. ?We were in a back-in with a 32' 5th wheel and had plenty of room to park the truck on the side and still have plenty yard to sit in. ?The 30 amp service was good and there was adequate water pressure. ?The WiFi is the best we've had in NL. ?There are shortcomings for units that are not self-contained. ?There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets to service the whole site, including the tent sites. ?They are small, nothing fancy, but clean. ?The tent sites are more private, set among the trees along the path that goes to the water
By next summer they should have the new section open, and hopefully more washroom facilities are being planned. ?This is definitely where we would stay if we came back to the area. For self-contained units, I would give it 4 stars, but because of the washroom facilities, I rate it a 3.
