August 2023: Convenient location for exploring St. Johns. We parked here and used taxi cabs to get around (We used Jiffy cab which was efficient - but call them and speak to a dispatcher, do not use their app as it does not work well). Sites are well separated, ours was in the non-wifi treed area. The only concern was that after heavy rain there was standing water in the tree area, and lots of bugs. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone wanting a convenient spot in St. John's itself.

This was a big park with lots of camping options. We had a nice, fairly private site. We were able to do laundry, dump, and fill while there. It was a convenient location close to St. John’s and everything we wanted to do for a few days. We didn’t spend a lot of time at our site, but it seemed like there were a lot of amenities nearby.

Wooded sites have more privacy than the open field , but the field has better WiFi. Lots of nice walking paths. Close proximity to city, which is great. Only mark down is the showers. Old, need some maintenance. Would stay here again.

Sites are good. No issues. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms definitely need work.

Pippy Park was a pip - the best place to stay for a central location in the St Johns area. Good sites - the ones with wifi are basically in a field but the non-wifi area looks better for more privacy and a wooded experience. Bath houses were OK, laundry was good. They have a small store with a few items - mostly snacks, soda and candy for the youngsters. We stayed in the field (wifi) sites for 4 nights - quite and peaceful. They do have signs posted to keep you valuables locked in your trunk. I’m assuming this is due to the proximity to the city but we didn’t experience any issued. I would recommend this location if you want to spend time in St Johns

Sites clean, well spaced and trees. Very little road noise considering location in the city. Easy access to metro transit. Highest rate since we got to NFLD,but we needed the proximity to the city as we have no toad. Would stay there again

Holy Moley!,that $$$ indicator was anything but. It cost us in a travel trailer over $100 for 2 nights in their WIFI area with full hookups. We stayed here 9 years ago and those pothole holes in the road are still here. Being September there are simply no other places open. It would rate higher with me if it weren't for the cost.
