Nice campground, quiet, pool, easy check in, close to Newfound Lake and Sculptured Rocks. Level sites. Sites were a little close. Will stay here again!

These are seriously some of the nicest people we’ve met in our three years of traveling. We checked in and the ladies running the place brought us a bucket of firewood within the hour (even though I said we didn’t need it until the following couple days) they made sure we knew if there was anything we needed to absolutely come talk to them. The young couple running the place are busy working on it all the time and are sooo great. Just over their little hill is the river where people go tent and pop-up camping and float down the river. Sites are EXTREMELY spacious and perfectly level. Everything is well cared for and the little shop is well stocked. The first day we were here, the lady who was in the office bought my daughter some candy to help her feel as welcome as we did. It seems like a bit of a hidden gem too, because although the weekends seem to fill up pretty well-during the week it isn’t busy at all, which is kinda fun for full-timers to have the pool and park to ourselves a bit. :)
