Very unpleasant experience at Country Bumpkins campground in Woodstock NH. Both owners were completely rude and with little respect for children and grandchildren, I would not recommend this campground to anyone simply due to lack of professionalism.

A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The complete lack of kindness and professionalism of the owners overshadowed our stay at this small campground. It is for this reason, we can only rate a single star and would not recommend a stay here.

I read the reviews from campers staying previous years and, hopefully, this will provide a useful update. I camped in Country Bumpkins with my family that totaled eight adults, six grandchildren, five dogs and three rigs (44' 5th wheel, 38' TT & 27' TT) for six days. Two members of our party stayed in a cabin, the remaining in their rigs. The park is well maintained, clean, quiet, well managed and had an appealing rustic feel. A stream borders most of the park and added a New England ambiance, while providing a great play area for our grandchildren. I had no trouble backing my 44' fifth wheel into site T4. The remainder of my family easily backed their TT's into T5 and T6. While the sites weren't perfectly level, we were able to level our coaches with minimal effort. For big rig owners, I did not find maneuvering through the campground particularly challenging. Trees were trimmed and road was well maintained. Campers and vehicles were parked in their appropriate places, so maneuvering around improperly parked vehicles was not an issue. I did see a 44' fifth wheel parked in site T33. So sites T33-T38, the remaining full hookup sites, are accessible by large rigs. Most of the campers, while we were there, were a mix of tent and small TT campers. Tent campers had great sites along the creek. The game room and playground were an added bonus and were well maintained and clean. Restrooms and showers were spotless. While I did not look at the cabins, my son, his wife and two children reported they were clean and enjoyable. With respect to the rules, they were strictly, fairly and politely enforced. We briefed the kids and none of us felt they were stifling or adversely impacted our vacation there. In fact, I believe they helped to make our stay a pleasant one. We found the owners to be friendly, engaging and dedicated to ensuring we had an enjoyable time. Our entire family liked them both,This is a great jumping off spot to enjoy New England hiking, tourist attractions and some great restaurants. I gave this 5 stars because it exceeded our expectations and met our criteria of an excellent campground. The website is an accurate description of Country Bumpkins. We camped at Country Bumpkins Campground and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful small campground, great location near Franconia Notch and the kancamagus Highway. Our pitch is on a small pond, very picturesque. Very friendly staff, and a great country store!

Wonderful place to stay. Great showers, very cheap and good laundry, WiFi available, very friendly woman at the reception.
And this for a very good price in season (25$ per night).
Highly recommended.

These folks are very friendly. Location is wonderful, along a stream. Sites are easy to get in to, even with my 30' Airstream. We will be back.
