Lovely sites with lots of separation. They used sand on the sites and that tracks everywhere. $2.50 showers is over the top. The private operator was rude.

We love Russell Pond. It is dry camping, no hookups, but very nice sites, private, really getting away from it all. If you want amenities like stores, wifi, etc this is not for you. If you like being in the woods, seeing wildlife and a beautiful mountain lake then this is for you. The road is rough getting there but that's part of its charm. It is fist come on the sites. We camped here in a pop-up and a hybrid trailer.
