This is an adequate campsite for a one-nighter or two. We stayed three nights because we wanted to explore Scotts Bluff and of course the idea of viewing Chimney Rock (especially at night when it is lit) made this place appealing. I do think it is overpriced (we paid just under $45 after taxes) with no discount offerings (minus one star). If it had at least offered a laundry facility, than OK. But it does not (subtract another star). Sites are level, gravel pullthrus, not much room between, but for one night who cares. Trains running near by are constant as well as the busy highway, making it a rather noisy location.

Met Joe. Small store with sandwiches an ice cream. Homemade waffle cones yummy. Quant campgrounds with adequate facilities Great view of Chimney Rock that’s lite at night. Great information from Joe about the area. Rode through a wet windy night. Trains passed through the night but we like trains

We met Joe who was very friendly. They have a small restaurant a place to buy sodas, beer and souvenirs. Joe cooked us up dinner before he left. Park looks to be lightly used. But the park is nice, clean and well kept. Great view of Chimney Rock. They light the rock up at night. Great pictures while we were there. Only drawbacks or the Trains that pass by and sound their horns all night long. When we were there is had just rained and the mosquitoes were out in full force at 5pm. They attacked our legs so just ware long pants.
