Staff was super nice, sites are as advertised (reasonable for water/power), fairly quiet, not too hard to find. Also they do have primitive sites for a lower rate. Provided us with a much-needed bit of respite from truck stops and Wallydocks.

They are exactly what they say they are: right off the highway, some beautiful spots with a pretty view of the lake, and a very reasonable price. We will be back when we come this way.

A nice independent park. Long term residents are separated from the short termers. Moderate road noise. Staff is friendly. Sites are reasonable size and fairly (but not totally) level. A good place to spend the night when traveling cross country. Reasonably priced. g3tysz

The campground itself was very nice. The owner, not so much...The day after we got there, my wife received a call from the very nice lady in the office(owner's mother) saying she saw we had a golf cart, and told my wife that we were not allowed to use the golf cart on the property. I went to the office that afternoon to get ice and I asked her about the "policy". She advised that the owner(her son) didn't allow them, but if I wanted to talk to him he would be there on Wednesday to mow the grass at the park. I saw the gentlemen mowing on Wednesday and introduced myself, I asked about this policy, he explained if he were to let me use the golf cart, he would have ten other people wanting to use one, then it would be "side by sides" and who knows what else people would be trying to use. He then told me that it was the policy, and he was the owner, and that was that. I shook my head and walked away from him. I went over to the office and cancelled the second week that we were going to stay there and received my refund for the following week. We did not use the golf cart the entire time we were there that week. On Friday evening we started preparing to load up to leave Saturday morning, I loaded the golf cart with our garbage and went to put it in the the dumpster prior to loading it into the back of the toy hauler. Before I made it to the dumpster(approx. 40 yards away) The owner came running from the back of the office screaming "you just had to do it didn't you, you just had to do it". I told him we were loading it into the trailer and he continued to act very irrational threatening to call the police saying we violated his no "off road vehicle" policy. I shook my head at him and said not to worry, we were leaving in the morning. He called the police and threatened to have us trespassed if we didn't leave that night by 8pm...We have been travelling for seven months now, first time we have had this type of experience with a park owner...Won't be back again..

Great person at desk. Very helpful to us when we had problems
with another RV Park in the area. She was able to
give us a back in, full hook up on River for less than
Other park. The only thing it does not have is WiFi.
Great place to stay. We will be back.

Over night Only campground. Long pull throughs pretty level gravely sandy surface. Sites close together. All utilities worked good. If you need to use the the showers or toilet not a good place to stop for the night. Not clean and in desperate need of a complete remodeling. Fire rings full of garbage some were so full it was on the ground around them. I 80 is also very nosy. There's also a road that runs on two sides of the campground noisy with fast moving traffic. Some up early and go to work seasonals. Stayed 6 nights in a motor home. Would not stay again.

Stayed here in June 2002. Park area is well maintained. Showers were clean and nice, although a little dark in shower area. Would stay here again.

Perfect for overnight stop while traveling through. We got a spot right on the lake. Yes it is right by I80 but with maxxair fan running it was not an issue. Place was older but you can tell maintained and I believe a family run business. Was able to get a reservation same day.

Spent two nights here. Staff went above and beyond to give us the best Lakeview site. Campground is well maintained. Would definitely stay here in the future.

We needed a place for electric hook up only near I-80 and found this campsite to fit the bill. The small lake is nice and everyone is very quiet. You can faintly hear the traffic on I-80. The bathroom was clean but we used it sparingly due to COVID. The showers looked nice but didn't want to use them due to COVID. We stayed here on our return trip as well. The owner kindly asked if we were AAA members so she could give us a discount.
