Very nice lakes and campgrounds next to the Platte River. Park is very flat so kids love to bike the many loops in the campground. Many nice places to tent and RV park. Park has a concession and bait shop. There is a swimming beach and lake. The lake tends to get a lot of algae in the summer and you know there are fish in the lake as the nibble at you (ouch!). One drawback is that some of the tent sites back to what looks like a heavily wooded area... which really hides a very active set of train tracks. Didn't notice that my first trip. As I settled in, the ground began to shake and the blast of the train horn was very startling. Just camp closer to the river side of the park. Louisville is just outside of the park. It has a small grocery, a pizza shop, gas, and a 1950's soda shoppe.

Hobos find better places to sleep than this train stop.
