Ponds low so swimming not an option. Never saw a camp host nor state park official. Brand new dump stations and upgraded bathrooms. No firewood for sale. Non reservable sites about 40% of total and some still available on Labor Day weekend. Was so very very hot we left a day early. There is access to a nice bike trail

Quiet, nice sites. Pretty empty. Very old bathrooms/showers. Clean, but old and coin operated. Terrible odor in the air at campsite. I think the vault toilet cleaning was overdue. Or the ponds were decaying. Not pleasant.

Grass lots narrow mounded. Out houses. Off hwy quiet area lots of ponds. Terrible storm with tornado warnings went through no designated area for shelter. Just an overnight stay, traveling west

Very peaceful, fairly close to interstate, but far enough away to be quiet. Lots of space between campsites. Heavily wooded with many small lakes/ponds that appeared to have good fishing. We saw a couple folks pull out 10 trout in a couple hours. Some nice walking trails. All self registration, make sure you have exact change. Park host had bicycles for the use of camp guests. Showers were coin operated

Very nice place for an overnight off highway 80. Well kept, clean, and close to the interstate without any noise.

Nice park but leash laws are not enforced: be prepared to defend yourself against dogs. You WILL encounter them. Carry spray or other defensive devices.
