We really liked this city park, electric hookup’s, playground, nice walking trails, bathroom facilities, does have a donation box with envelopes for you to drop off. Well worth the short drive. Very quiet area. Thumbs up ?

We read the reviews and decided to try this out ... then saw the sign for free RV parking on our way in. When we got here there was only one other RV. The location is great, right next to shaded picnic tables with a playground across the street. The parking is a little confusing, if you parallel park you take up more than one spot. Backing in would require unhooking tow vehicle in order not to stick too far out, but no biggy. I’d say there are maybe 10 sites, some with water. All have electric. I’ve read that there is a dump onsite but haven’t looked for it yet. All in all, very pleased and hoping for a nice restful sleep.

This park has a good number of campsites with free water and electricity on a gravel lot. The Fair Grounds around the corner have a lot more sites. I stayed for one night and it was very quiet. Verizon LTE service was weak but usable. AT&T was a little better.

Awesome park to camp. We pulled into the big wide parking area, hooked up electricity (we only run a box fan and computers) and used the water, it was all great and worked. Went for a walk the next day and saw some spots way over by the pavilions with shade so we called and asked, they said those are really the camping and the big parking lot was fairgrounds but we could use either. It was over 90 degrees and no shade by us so we moved over there...awesome! Except the electric wouldn't run a fan so we used an extension to the pavillion... check them before you unload. The electricity in the pavilions is great, so is the water they offer. Pretty walking trails too!
