We spent a week here & had a lovely time! Cleanest bathrooms & showers I’ve ever seen at a campground (even the vault toilets were immaculately clean). The RV sites are electric only. Water is available at the dump station, so fill up on your way in. Tent sites looked like a free for all , but have more shade than the RV sites. This park has so many things to do we could not do them all in a week! The only slight complaint I have is is the RV sites are very close to your neighbors, but we were so busy doing activities that we hardly noticed. Definitely one of our favorite stays!

Word of advice - biking is not recommended due to little thorns that gave us two flats on our mountain bikes! Also as far as information, expect some confusion as trail markings and maps are less than impressive! Otherwise, really nice park! Just hike instead of bike!!

Fort Robinson is an interesting State Park to visit. We appreciated having showers, a pool, and a museum at the park. However, as tent campers our experience there was not perfect. The tent campground is basically just 3 big group areas with a few fire ring and tables in each, so there’s no clear boundaries between sites. On the plus side, there are lots of trees and shade in the area. There is water and a vault toilet in the tent camping area, but the flush toilets and showers are a very long walk away. Also, the campground is pretty close to a state highway so we heard trucks braking all night long and a train whistle half a dozen times also.
