Pay attention to the fees! Maybe I鈥檓 not paying enough attention to my reservations. This was one of over 12 Rv parks we stayed in on a cross country trip. We stayed two nights and the total fee was prepaid incl. tax was $69 paid before we arrived. When we get here we find out we are charged a $12 day use fee for each day we stay. There is a small charge to take a shower as well. We go to the pool to swim and find out it鈥檚 $5/person for four of us. With the $35/night reservation, the added $12/day and the other small fees it just seems like a lot for an electric only site. The park is beautiful but I think the fee situation could be charged upfront so you have a true representation of what you鈥檒l pay to stay here.

Very nice park and campground. Nice grassy sites with shade in the morning and afternoon. Deer and turkeys come through. Many activities in the park with swimming, horseback rides, a lagoon with paddle boats to rent. Very friendly staff at check in

Granted, we were only there 1 night and utilized the 芒鈧搘alk in(up)芒鈧 option ( mid-week). Clean dishes no station, beautifully landscaped and maintained. For those who want it, horse riding, tennis courts, pool etc. we stayed in our truck camper at a 30 amp (there are 50 also) near the tent sites. Very quiet, nice fire pit and enough cell service to stream the evening news. I want to come back here.

Great place to go to and nice campsite. Got to go camping for first time in our camper at this location. Learned a lot on this trip on how to use the camper. Park has a few hiking trails that are really nice. I call this place mini Colorado.

Very nice and clean State Park. Host were very helpful, wildlife viewing is good on the scenic road inside the park, fishing pond with paddles boats, nice clean showers and restrooms. Chadron has all the basic supplies for full timers, even a small Walmart. We would stay here again.

We did not camp here, however, hiked through the CG during our stay at Red Cloud CG in mid-October. This appears to be a very nice CG with services. There's a primitive section $13/night and electric $20/night. The sites are arrayed in 2 loops and most parking areas are asphalt surrounded by grass and appear to be relatively level. There are a few trees for shade and lots of sun. Water and dump are available in the park. We met the office staff who were helpful and friendly.

Clean, quiet and spacious. 30 amp electric site. Lots of shade asphalt back in sites. Not all sites close to shower. Two one night stays this summer.

Stayed 2 nights, beautiful spot right on the Pine Ridge. The weather got really cool which I loved cause it had been so hot down in Arkansas. Friends came from Chadron and took me around the area exploring.
I'll be back!
