So there is one obvious negative to this campground: being right off of I-80 is very noisy. This is also a positive for someone who is exhausted and looking for somewhere safe and quick to rest their head. I’m still giving 5 stars because all the other thoughtful amenities that the family has provided. Very well kept showers with disposable mats to keep your feet clean when drying off. A nice little kitchen and sitting area in the building. Laundry was reasonably priced. Sites were also reasonable at $35 for tent, $45 for full hook up if paying cash. Definitely would stay again.

Easy stop off the highway. Full hookup 50amp $40. Sites are level. Showers are clean. Owners are very nice. There are several options on how to pay; Venmo, cash, credit, etc. We were told to park on the east side of the of because the water was on in that section and road noise would be less. Honestly, it didn’t bother us at all, even when outside. The owners appear to have taken this corner of their ranch and provided travels a nice spot to get off the highway for the night. You even have cows standing watch, Great one night stop.

Perfect for staying overnight while traveling. Had electricity, but due to unexpected freeze, no showers or water. The owners were so accommodating. They let us use other showers on site.

This place is perfect for over night travel. Easy access in and off the highway. Plus there are farm cats, very adorable. We would stay here again.

A nice little campground. Friendly people and clean showers. When we called to make a reservation, they made it clear that it was a working farm. So, it came with a few flies and mooing cattle; just what you would expect from a farm. It’s not far from the interstate, but we noticed little noise. We would stay here again.

We pulled in with our 43’ motorhome towing our car because the site said they took Passport America. We weretold it would be another $5 dollars because of out size,,, $2 for a shower, $5 for WiFi... everything was an add on, all for a dusty spot IMEDDIATELY next to the highway. This was no Passport deal - the owner was busy on a personal phone call so we got this info from someone staying there. We decided to move on.

Tim was very funny and friendly on the phone when I made a reservation for the 2017 solar eclipse (Lake McConaughy, Ogalalla, and North Platte were all completely booked). His mother, Neeta was very helpful and welcoming when I checked in. The two spots with dedicated fire pits were taken, but because I requested one on the phone, The family patriarch, Mark, brought us a new portable fire pit to our site, where they had set up a picnic table and chairs. We left for North Platte for the day and when we got back they had brought us a huge pile of wood to burn!!! They all called us by our names while we were there. Tim brought out freshly baked cookies for us that night. Then, later, he came back with some frozen elk meat to send us home with!!! In the morning they brought out freshly baked cinnamon rolls for the entire camp!!
I normally hate camping so close the interstate, and honestly I'll never really have a reason to ever stay in Big Springs again... But the McGreer Family is amazing!!!!!! Extremely friendly! Incredible service! Their hospitality and graciousness toward my family has ensured that we will DEFINITELY be going out of our way to stay here again!!

The only good things I can say about this campground is that it is easily accessible and the showers/toilets are clean.
There's a cow lot within feet of the camping spots! Absolutely horrible.
We stayed herein a small travel trailer, would not willingly stop here again.
