UPDATE to 2017 review. The concrete pad next to the building is not blocked with a sign and small tree.
Parking for camp vehicles is along the road by the dump/water station.

The park is at the east end of south third street. It was raining all night so we didn’t get to walk along the sidewalks or road. A very nice little park with picnic shelters, playground and sports fields. Site is along the gravel road by the water and dump station. There’s a pole with 110 only. A police officer stopped by to check on us, he was very nice and welcomed us to Battle Creek. Suggest a small sign to indicate camp site. Thanks Battle Creek for your hospitality.

Had a hard time figuring out where th site was, but finally identified a slab next to a building with two picnic tables on it. Moved one, slid the trailer in, and spent a pleasant night. No visible way to pay, so it was free.
