Nice campground for families. Stayed here one night Saturday Sep 9, 2023 w/o reservations; busy but several sites available. Sites are tight together with very little separation. Clean facilities, bathrooms/showers; lots to do from hiking to water activities to historical features.

Very impressed with Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. Lots to do from recreation to history - it鈥檚 all there! We had a beautiful site on the water and watched young children playing in the Heart River with kayaks, paddleboards, etc. The waters were quiet and shallow. My husband and I toured the Mandan Village and Custer House. Excellent tours! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Older campground, stayed 4 nights in the south loop at site 43 which is a level pull through site with a gravel pad. The area is well shaded and trees are maintained so they do not hinder driving with a tall RV. Our site had 30A power and water was a distance away. Needed every hose I had to reach! Did not use the restrooms or showers dump station is well situated. It鈥檚 a lovely place!

Nice well shaded spots by the river. Lots of grass. Very pretty. None with full hook ups. Some have water and electric and some have only electric and some have nothing. Historic place. Interesting activities.

What a great park. If you are ever thru this area please put this on your list. So clean and nice and dark at night. Will stop if ever this way again.

Third time we芒鈧劉ve been here. Nice gravel sites. 30 amp electricity. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. Water hookups are NOT next to the utility box; Bring at least 100ft of hose. Another note, be careful about the site you reserve; a few sites are for two trailers Ok for friends and families but not so good if you DON芒鈧劉T want to have your bedroom five feet from your neighbors.

Great park with electric and water hook up. Sites are well spread out and there is a lot to do here. The north loop spots are right on the water, south loop spots have a road between sites and river. Sites are gravel fairly easy to level on. Site 70, 71, and 72 in north loop are on water. If water hookup matters pick site 71 or 72. For site 70 you will need and extra long hose as the water is to the front of the site between 70 and 71 which would be the opposite side where most water hook ups are on a back in.

This is our third stay in this park as we芒鈧劉ve traveled through North Dakota. It is a beautiful park with a very nice campground with water and electric sites. WiFi is available at the visitor芒鈧劉s center. Take the time to visit the Cavalry fort including General Custer芒鈧劉s home, the museum in the visitor芒鈧劉s center, and the Indian village.

Price shock! $25 per night plus a $7 entrance fee.... Miss leading to say the least per the 2 dollar signs ($$) on 芒鈧揂llstays芒鈧. Still a nice CG, open and lots of grass. Right on the river.

Really nice state park, beautifully situated on the Missouri River. Quiet sites with lots of space. Lots to do for kids too.
