Considering what it is, a all but primitive campground on the Dakota plains and on the Missouri banks, it was a delight to stay here. No reservations. No campground attendant. Honor system self registration. $18 for a 30A site. Little shade. Verizon wireless coverage. Mosquitos. Pit toilets. No showers. Level RV sites. Lovely views. Adjacent to a historic site. We stayed on a Monday night in early August and were the only ones here except for two photographers that came by just before sunset.
