Nice park. We have a 23’ foot rv and we got a full hook up 30 amp hook up. Park is nice, we arrived late but all the paperwork was waiting and we had a nice site. Gravel pad. Mostly level. It’s and in town location so there is some night time noise from the road and trash pickup etc. but the park was quit. Recommend it, as a good location.

Our planned 3 night stay extended to 6 nights due to a medical situation. The staff could not have been more helpful in extending our stay and showing real care and concern for us. The sites are wide. The amenities are very nice ( although we didn’t use any of them) the park is clean and close to everything Wilmington has to offer. We will always stay here whenever we are in the area.

Brief shake down camping trip in a new rig. 29 ft motor home pulling a toad. This camp is close to our home and in a very suburban area. If driving south, it is very easy to access. Turning across traffic if driving north or turning out of the camp to the north could be challenging . A very nice KOA. Flat, sandy site. We chose a back-in for practice and had no issues. Fellow showing us the site assisted. Some sites are shaded and others are more open. Full hook ups all worked. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Camp is quiet despite being in a suburban area. There are a lot of restaurants and stores in the immediate area. Papa John’s pizza was a 2 minute walk. We topped off our propane tank while there without any hassle. A very enjoyable short stay. Staff was exceptionally friendly .

Access: Good. Pave interior roads.
Sites: Pull-throughs & back-ins. Level gravel/sand. Fire pits. Some with concrete patio & BBQs. Spacing close but not tight.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful.
Grounds: Well kept, clean. Curbside garbage pick-up.
Electrical: 30/50 amp. No issues
Noise Level: Moderate. Highway and Fire Dept close by. No trains.
Cell Service AT&T: 3 bars. Did experience network congestion on weekends.
Wifi: Good
Price: Very high - $85 per night/$105 weekends & holidays.
Notes: We travel in a 40' Motorhome. Not all park facilities were used.
Opinion: Many young family campers. Wilmington can experience heavy rain and results in much standing water around sites. This park deserves high ratings in all areas except one, the price. Not exceptional for the money.

Wonderful KOA. Every time we visit there seems to be something new - whether redone bathrooms, more full hook ups and patio sites, private bathrooms by expanded camper cabin area, or more things for kids to do. This time they have added a path to a new restaurant. So in addition to Dominos one can walk to Casa Banca for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon snack (6am-6pm).

We had a two day reservation here because I was having her surgery in the area. We had planned to stay at a nearby Military campground (Fort Fisher)for the remainder of my recovery but due to their incompetency, poor customer service & unprofessionalism we extended our stay here (see review on Fort Fisher). When I called just 2 days before my surgery scrambling for a place to stay I talked to Lindsey & she assured me she would take care of us and assuaged my worries. She found a spot for us for the entire 10 day stay! When we checked in she assisted us and was so kind, helpful & customer service oriented unlike the horrid staff at Fort Fisher. Everyone here is friendly & go overboard to make your stay pleasant but Lindsey & Bubba stand above with their personalities. We normally don’t stay at KOA’s because you don’t always get what you pay for but here you do; everything is clean, well- maintained & everyone has pride in ownership....kudos to the management!

We stayed at Wilmington KOA for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our camping experience there. Our site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our tow vehicle. I should mention that we were not positioned in a lace that could pick up their WiFi, but that did not bother us, because we have a hotspot. What impressed us most about this RV Park was how very friendly staff were. They were so nice and very helpful. We look forward to staying here again!

4 Stars for Allstays review. We stayed 2 nights. Overall very nice. We had a gravel/rock pad with a deluxe concrete patio site. Sites were level and well maintained with good gravel/rock coverage. The bathhouse was very nice and spotless. The office had a well stocked store and their laundry room was outstanding with newer washers and dryers and enough of both and a waiting area with comfortable furniture a TV and magazines, just off of the main office area. The Staff was great and very helpful.
