We stayed in a 40 foot motorhome for 3 weeks in August. Compared to many places we’ve stayed, we found the sites here to be very reasonable in size. The staff keep the campsites well maintained and are very helpful. On a more personal note, the paved roads in the campground allow for a pleasant 1 mile walk around the perimeter. Also, my dog and I loved wading in the 2 creeks that surrounds the campground.

Staff was cordial at checkin, parking guide was very friendly. Fairly large grassy sites with hook ups but no privacy between sites. Bath house was dated and did not appear cleaned at early AM shower. Nice creek ran across the front of the campground.

Beware of inflexible rules for cancellation/rescheduling. We canceled because of flooding and unsafe weather conditions and were told we would be charged the entire 3 day stay. We offered to reschedule for a specific future stay at the time of cancellation if they would offer partial credit, but management person said ‘new rules’ prevented this. This was not explained to us at the time of our original reservation. Seems like a short sighted approach to customer service.

Great park! Friendly & helpful staff, fairly level pull thru sites. We had plans to go to Charleston but cancelled due to hurricane Matthew & decided to stay in the mtns. So glad we did. The trees changed every day & we got to really enjoy the fall color. Will definitely stay here again.

The campground is very racist, there are racial displays in very poor taste and flags thought out placed by the employees. I will never stay or visit this place again.
