Stayed there 21-26 June 2020. Great proximity to the beach. The place floods when it rains but that’s common at the Outer Banks. AT&T service is spotty. We would stay again.

What a great campground, stayed last year for 2 months and here again for the same.
Had to evacuate for the storm but came back as soon as the lifted the restrictions.
Park has 3 bathrooms, paved roads and concrete sites.
Its a little tight for big rigs but I have seen many 45' motorhomes and 40' fifth wheels in here, if you need help backing in I am in site 30 and will be glad to help!
Park has very nice grass and most sites are shaded bu long leaf pines and there is aduquate room between sites and a very reasonable price.
Walk across the dune and you are on a beautiful beach.
Friendly owners as well as guest.
Come stay you will love it!

Overall very good. Paved roads, concrete pads. Sites are close together as to be expected, but not as close as many campgrounds. Friendly staff and very friendly campers. Quiet at night! Direct access to the beach.
We stayed 5 nights. While here we checked out a few of the other local campgrounds and did not see anything this nice.
Would stay here again.

Thank you Allstays for a very accurate review. I concur, clean, level site, cable and wifi has been steady. Very helpful front desk. Referred me to a repair person who was outstanding. Small size, everyone becomes a friend. Some have been here for 20 years. Ocean access just a walk over the dunes. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Definitely expect a good stay.

Stayed here for a week. Had rain from Bonnie tropical storm (June 2016). Level lots, nice folks, very helpful. Campsites are narrow but long enough for up to 45'. Well located in center of island if touring Outer Banks is your desire. Right on beach. Beaches are beautiful. Has a pool. Will definitely visit again. Very reasonably priced for location and quality. Has supermarket, restaurants and seafood market all within walking distance. If however you do get caught in a severe tropical storm expect water everywhere. Campground will fill with water but so does the rest of the island. Driving becomes difficult as US 12 floods in places, especially from Waves on down south of the island. Even with that challenge OBX is a beautiful place to visit and has some of the best beaches on the east coast.
