You cannot do any better than this campground. Big spaced out sites that are level with full hookups and 50 amps. You will not be disappointed in this campground. Stuff to do for all ages. On this trip we have stayed at 25 different campgrounds and this one is the best of all

Greatly enjoyed my stay of 5 days. I was visiting the area. Camp site was level and immaculate, very pleasant, and hookups easy and working. Stayed with the woods adjacent and made walking the dog easy. It is a resort sort of campground with lots of events, other people told me the come often. Very nice staff. Convenient for visiting Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks.

I was greeted by a very friendly lady and guided to our site by a nice gentleman. We used Passport America and paid half price. The park was immaculate, very quiet and relaxing. We took our inflatable kayak on the lake and it was awesome. My wife and I came here to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary.

Very nice park with lake, pool, laundry, motel and cabins. Wi-fi was spotty and about 50% of the cable tv channels had distorted audio. $50 a night is a bit pricey for being in the middle of nowhere.

GREAT campground. We chose North River for its proximity to the Banks and Chesapeake. We lucked out. This place is superb. A well kept, beautiful setting, very quiet with lots of green space around the pond. The laundry looked well kept but I did not use it. They even have a small menu with pizza! We would definitely come back if our travels bring us this way. As always check with the campground before depending on GPS for the best route.

Great campground! Beautiful! Campground deserves 5 stars. But ¿ìÈýƽ̨ does not!! ¿ìÈýƽ̨ has the WRONG zip code for this place, which caused us to have our mail sent to a city 2.5 hours away!! Which cost me over $20 in postage to have the mail (1)sent to the wrong city by Priority Mail, (2)returned to sender, then (3)sent to us again!! If it had been time sensitive, we would be out of luck!! The correct zip code, per USPS, is 27973!!

This place is beautiful! Perfectly manicured lawn, beautiful little lake, very level and clean sites. Extremely nice people and fair rates.

This place was meticulously maintained and full of amenities. Pat the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We did day trips to OBX from here and they were not too bad on the mileage. GREAT BBQ in the area too. Only reason I'm not rating 5/5 is the price was steep at $50/night or so.

Highly recommend this campground. Incredibly beautiful nestled around a large pond. East trek to OBX or Elisabeth City. Do yourself a favor and visit here!

Great spot if your visiting the area. Enjoyed our stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. 30-45 minutes from the OBX. We had a great site backed up to the pond for a week. Great quiet gem of a campground.

Nearby Elizabeth City is a quaint little city where we attended an Art Walk with local artists displaying their works. Joined Coasters Draught House for a $1 yearly membership. Nice little marina.

Off the beaten path. Don't be fooled by the office. I would definitely recommend.
