Beautiful park with amazing amenities- volleyball, tennis, paddle boats, and more. Sites are private on the lake with a beautiful nature walk. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it work because even with the largest WeBoost I couldn’t get the 1 bar of Verizon signal to transmit data. The whole park has unusable Verizon, frustratingly the second you pull out of the gate onto the highway it jumps to 3 bars!

No refund policy makes this too much of a risk. The campground requires full payment when you make a reservation and will not give a refund. Instead they offer a rain check stay within the next 12 months.

Very family friendly park, with tons for family's with kids to do. 36 holes of miniature golf, nature center, hiking, fishing. Campground is heavily wooded, with 50 amp and water. We were in site 60, one of about a dozen level sites for our 40 foot Class A and F150 tow. Fire rings and firewood available. Maybe 10 miles from I85. North Carolina Transportation Museum close by in nearby Spencer worth a visit. Historic Salisbury full of fun restaurants and 2 micro-breweries. The park is south of I85. Do not believe Garmin and go north of I85 into Salisbury only to turn back south again. Yes this way saves 2 minutes, but includes many tight turns for a large rig in the downtown area. Turn south of the highway and make your way to the park with the reroute you will then get!
