Fantastic! Great KOA! On the river. Grass everywhere. About 50% of the sites are partially or fully shaded. Very well maintained and Managed. A little pricy during weekend stays. ? Many sites with a river view. Campground is set up in a combination of loops and the fishbone/Walmart parking lot layout. Nice variation of cabins, all with shade. Catch and release fish pond. On site store.

Don’t usually like KOAs but this one is truly special. Level spacious sites, small with a real campground feeling. Plenty of amenities and activities for families. Would definitely stay here again.

29 ft motor home pulling a toad. Campground is in Bridgerton across the Neuse river from New Bern. Very easy access and a quiet area with great river views of New Bern. We have stayed twice and both times enjoyed the visit. Roads are paved. Sites are level/gravel with good access to hookups. Nice camp to walk around … mostly shady with mature trees. Bath/showers were well maintained … though I don’t like those water saving shower heads. The first visit we had Dominoes deliver pizza. The second visit we drove into Downtown New Bern (about 5 minute drive … then a few minutes to find parking ) for a great lunch at Cypress Hall. Our visits were in October and February. This KOA is definitely worth considering if in eastern NC.

Have stayed here twice. Large, level sites. Nice playground and pool. Park is well maintained. There's a pier that goes out into the Neuse River where one can sit and relax or fish. There are even boats for rent. The staff is great and helpful. A staff member guides you to your site and helps once there as needed.

Great staff, great stay. Easy in and easy out. Beautiful park.
