Nice park but too much road construction. Not only is I-26 being worked on, but also the roads in the park which were gravel are being paved.

Nice site. Was off season so pool was not open yet but look like a nice pool. Pond on property was cool and you could fish if you wanted to. Close to Asheville, Chimney Rock and DuPont State Recreation Forest.

Pros:
Great location for visiting the Asheville area.
Nice little fishing pond.
Heated pool and playground for kids.
Nice community center.
Cons:
Trailer court (permanent tenants)
Extremely close.
All gravel
Airport across the street
Sites not level (not even close)
It’s a one a done campground for us.

This park has the potential to be very nice but seems a bit worn. Gravel sites were large enough but not spacious. Wifi was ok. Cable connector at our site was not good. Pretty convenient location for visiting Asheville and surroundings. Large commercial area nearby with all the typical franchises. Roads are a bit tight in the area so no good walking or biking in the vicinity but we found a great park nearby in Fletcher with nice trails and a dog park.

Nice campground. Access is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The higher numbered spots are more wooded. I have stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it. The internet is not reliable at this park.

I called to make reservations beginning May 22nd for a length of one week. Due to the Labor Day weekend, she wanted three days rental to hold reservation which was fine, but she refused to tell me the actual site number. She stated there was only one site which would fit my rig, but still would not divulge site number. Why? Bait and Switch? Based on their web page site plan, I gave her a list of their premium sites I would consider. I am not going to put down a three-day deposit, only to arrive to find site unacceptable and they will most likely refuse full reimbursement. I was already wary before calling because I read another review where they refused to refund reservation deposit for someone else because they had to cancel due to Covid-19 Stay-At-Home State declaration.

My family reserved two RV sites for the 2020 Easter week. Due to the corona virus stay-at-home mandate and travel restrictions for necessary travel only we were forced to cancel our reservations. Rutledge RV park charged us a $40 cancellation fee even after explaining our dilemma. It is disappointing to know that this RV park would not wave their cancellation fee in light of the circumstances especially in this time when banks are waving mortgage payments, loan payments times are being extended, and many people are helping one another through this trying time.

Nice location, full hookups, friendly staff. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Sites are very close together and difficult to get into due to narrow gravel roads and tow vehicles/trailers packed everywhere. Some Wifi, and phone reception was okay. Lots of kids and families, busy and crowded place. This isn't the place to come for quiet relaxation, but it is good if you are looking for something convenient to South Asheville. I believe we paid around $45 per night.

A gem of an RV park located perfectly close to both Hendersonville and Asheville. Also close to Fruitville and the apple orchards for Apple Fest in the fall. We stayed here 5 nights while visiting friends nearby. Nice even groomed and terraced sites for trailers and quite a few huge sites for BigRigs. Nice sites by the pond. Sparkling clean bathrooms and laundry. Friendly staff. Rec room with a pool table and very clean swimming pool. Close to stores, restaurants, airport. Great RV park for a base while looking for real estate in the Asheville area. Will definitely come back.
