Great stop and convenient to I-40. The friendliest hosts and the campground it beautifully maintained. We only stayed one night but there is plenty to do here. All sites are full hook up, we had no issue with leveling (all are paved). The price at our stay was $40. That is still much better than most. Highly recommend.

Stayed here in summer of 2016, did it again in early Oct. 2021. Not disappointed, same experience as before. Beautiful park, friendly and helpful hosts. Site pads are paved, require some leveling, but not bad. Restrooms and showers in clean condition, but a bit far from our site (not a problem, we are self contained). Good hookups. Stayed in our 31’ 5th wheel. Will stay again if we make back out here.

Friendly staff, clean safe sites, pet friendly with trails, golf courses and other amenities. The hosts go out of their way to assist you and make your stay comfortable. Close to the highway. I wanted to play golf but the weather didn’t cooperate.

What a beautiful park! You could spend a few days doing activities within the park, walking/jogging, golf and horse riding. It is 1100 acres and simply beautiful. Campground is easy to get to, near Interstate, and paved roads throughout. My only complaint of sites is many of them slope down quite a bit, but manageable. They are large and easy to back in to. Not a bad price too for full hook up. No laundry facilities though. Close to groceries and gas.

Back in only. Some sites not level (stop whining and use leveler blocks) for $33 a night all are paved and well spaced and well maintained. Deer in park, and designed for those who value quiet, civility and peaceful surroundings. Not a "party all night long" place, thank goodness.

Really terrific park. Lots of walking trails and older but clean showers and restrooms. Close to Harris Teeter and excellent Thai restaurant, Chang Thai. Sites are back in (one pull thru) but are very wide and long. We'd stay there any time we are in the area.

Very clean, well kept campground in a beautiful setting. There's plenty to do without leaving the park from biking/hiking, enjoying the pool, taking your dog to the off leash park, fishing or going for a horseback ride. Shopping is close by with access to all of the local businesses and entertainment within minutes. Only downside for us was not being able to have a campfire at our site. There is a community fire ring however. Most sites are level However we did see some that needed extensive use of leveling aids/blocks.

We have been here a couple of times. Very clean facility. Many walking and biking trails. Beware rules say no free standing canopies. Only awnings that are attached to vehicles are allowed. No fire pits at sites. They do have a couple fire pits in the common area.

Probably the best park we stayed at on our month long coast to coast trip. Sites require some leveling, but are well spaced apart, asphalt pads, under trees, but not clogged with underbrush, quiet location away from roads. Park has many activity sites, large grocery near the entrance.
