Stayed here 1 night. Mix of people staying for the amusement park and permanent residents. Sites vary from level to extreme. Some sites paved, some dirt. Outrageously expensive ($100.00 / night). Some sites are easy to get into but lanes are very narrow for a big rig, coupled with people parking on the roads makes navigating very tricky. Cabelas is 1/2 mile away and free for an overnight. Would choose Cabelas over this hands down for a one night stay.

Great Staff! Park has 3 sections from a “camping experience “ to lined up side by side, but not too close . Mainly treed but a few spots where satellite will work . Pool and other activities and of course Carowins Amusement park. Can be dusty , muddy ,or just fine depending on the weather. Most sites are on a slight angle but are easily leveled with a block or two / many were seen not leveling their campers and were fine
Good base to explore Charlotte

Clean, well maintained campground, paved, level sites, great internet, friendly staff. We were just passing through, and we will stay here again.

Great if you want to go to Carowinds. I did not, so it was of no use to me. However, the options are very limited in Charlotte. Close enough to the city. Very buggy.

Clean. Shady. In flight path of Charlotte airport. Pricey. Friendly staff. Convenient to many CLT attractions. Comprehensive review at www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

This campground is located in a busy high traffic area and is geared for visitors to the adjacent Carowinds Amusement park. Well maintained grounds and friendly staff. Paved and level sites.

Don't waste your time. Camp ground is not very well maintained, bath houses are dirty. Staff is lazy lady behind the counter would not get up from her desk and kinda rude. Very expensive!!!

Pricy, very pricy. BUTnthey for us in last minute and even gave us free concert tickets. The park is very close and The staff was very friendly. Although we did not get a chance to use the pool, it looked very clean and a lot of people are enjoying it

We booked a cabin online for our family thinking that it would be a convenient to the park and a larger space than a motel would offer-WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS!! The cabins are located in a campground and are VERY small and offer absolutely no amenities. The beds are horrible; there are no closets, no drawers, no ironing board and only a small bath with a standup shower. The only AC is in the front part of the cabin with no airflow to the bedrooms. The bunk beds are incredibly small and short. The kitchen has no oven, the utensils are the cheapest items that can purchased and though it had a dishwasher, no soap is provided. The most frustrating thing was the fact that to get into the Park you had to make a drive of a couple miles around to the other side of the park to main entrance- do not waste your time on the shuttle bus, pick up times are very unreliable. For the cost of this cabin you can rent two very well appointed interconnected rooms at the Comport Inn and get two nice bathrooms, More privacy for Mom & Dad two TV's and more space and be able to walk to the South Entrance in about 10 minutes
