We stayed in lot A20, a pull through, and stayed two nights (Friday and Saturday). We did not have a reservation, but they still had several fist come, first served sites at 1PM on Friday afternoon when we arrived. We have a 36 foot fifth wheel. The lot was partly shaded, and are on the small side. The campground is a tight fit in places, but we did not have any issues. The campground is nice - while there are no electric or water hookups, you can fill your water tank on-site. If you have a tall rig or trailer like us, plan your route carefully. many tunnels may be too low.

We stayed at Mt Pisgah Campground for 3 nights. Our site#13 loop B has partial shade and medium walk to bathroom. No hookups anywhere in campsites, even in RV loop A. While A & B loops have some double space back-ins, Loop B is mostly single back-ins and loop A has pull-thrus. All campsites are primitive at $20/night with no tax. Each campground loop has single shower with 2 toilet stalls, so patient is a virtual here, or pick a crazy hour for your nice hot shower. Water spigots generally between sites. Trash receptacles scattered conveniently on all campground loops. OTA TV signal is around 10 stations. Gas generator is allowed between 8am to 9pm for RV/trailer folks. WiFi is limited to ranger station and LTE is none existent at campsites. Dump station near the exit before the ranger kiosk. Would we stay again? With additional shower and WiFi... maybe.

We love this campground and have been coming here for years. It's really difficult to get a site if your coming during peak season and didn't make a reservation weeks ahead but they do have a lot of walk up sites. They do fill up quick. What I love most about Mt Pisgah is that it's so much cooler here in the summer. It's also really close to a lot of fun activities in Pisgah.

This was our first Blue Ridge Parkway camp site. It was very cold because it was the highest also. Over all when it was sunny, it was a very nice place. You can only get Verizon signal up here, so ATT did not work. Most of the camp sites are wet because of all the natural springs coming through. Not very level either, so bring your levelers. You will need them. All the sites are paved even if they are not level. We stayed here 4 nights and it rained every day. It could of been better, but the rain killed it. Realy nice and cool at night so dry camping here is not biggy.
