July 17th marked the end of our second one-week stay at McAdam Campground. Having travelled throughout NB through the years staying at many private and provincial campgrounds, this is by far our favourite place to camp. It is very clean and quiet. Lots are large and private. The sandy beach is a lovely place to spend a warm sunny afternoon. The lake is great for kayaking and the village a great place to bike. Don’t forget to visit the train station and take a light walk through the trail located to the left of the station. The village of Harvey is a short drive. The beach at Harvey lake is lovely with a few gift shops and stores on the Main Street.
