Quiet, nice campground with level sites. Wonderful walking trails through the woods and overlooking the marshes and the Bay. Well maintained grounds. Friendly staff. Beautiful flowers and sitting areas along the walkways. Nice place to see the tides. Close to Hopewell Rocks.

Nice comfortable campground very close to Hopewell Rocks. We had a full sun, level pull through close to the walking trail that goes to back end of HR park. Beautiful flowers and nice views on walkway just wear bug spray. Bathrooms were clean and well cared for. We would definitely stay again.

Simple and not complicated place, lots of trees, closed to Hopewell. We were able to enjoy the area for 2 days, walking around the site in nice trails.

DO NOT STAY HERE: I had a reservation at Ponderosa Pines Campground, NB for July 12, 2020. We were heading to Nova Scotia in an RV from Pennsylvania and were planning on staying at the campground. On June 16, 2020 it was announced that the US-Canada border would remain closed until July 21, 2020 due to COVID-19. As a US citizen I was unable to get to Canada for my reservation on July 12 at Ponderosa Pines so had to cancel. I let them know on June 17, one day after the official announcement and a total of 26 days notice, and asked for a refund. They informed me that I could only receive a 50% refund due to their 30-day notice policy but that I could have campground "credit" to be used at a later date. My vacation to Canada was cancelled for the year and I was unable to use their camp credit. After many email exchanges, Ponderosa Pines would not budge on their 30-day policy for cancellations regardless of the reasons. I felt that this is unethical and unreasonable as I was not permitted into the country by federal law and myself was not given a 30-day notice. In my opinion, this is an unethical business practice and feel others should know the kind of people that run Ponderosa Pines Campground.

Facilities are very clean, showers and bathrooms. Good hot shower. Laundry looks ok but didn’t use it. Sights are close but no closer than many others. Here early in season so not many campers or bugs. We were able to see Hopewell Rocks, tidal bore and others sights on Fundy without moving. Would stay again. The only downside was internet being weak.

There is nothing wrong with this campground! The negative reviews seem unfair. It was clean, staff was friendly, campsites were close together but no more than many I’ve been in. Laundry room was large and reasonably priced. And, yes, the point of staying here is it’s close to Hopewell Rocks, and I glad it was there.

The CG has recently been updated. We are on a caravan @ 25 of us stayed in a large area that was all 50 amp sites. Don't know the cost since we were on a tour. Each site had a brand new picnic table. Owner watered down the dirt/gravel roads to keep the dust down. A walk around the tent sites made me want to try that kind of camping again. Green, grassy, some private little areas with a fire ring.

Besides the fact that the hopwell rocks are around the corner there is no reason tomvisit this campground. Overpriced and laundrymachines old and barley functioning. We have never seen sites beeing placed so closed to each other (we could hear inside our motorhome the heating of our neighbours).
