Location, location, location. Cannot beat the location to almost everything. We used as a home base for four days and it worked well. Don鈥檛 expect anything great. Old and a bit run down but clean. Eyebrow sites that is on one side you are walking out I got the road and no awning usage. Minimal trees and separation from neighbors who arrive at all hours. General store was 鈥渃losed for a break鈥 all three times we tried to buy ice. Water worked well and dish washing station at bathhouse was nice. Bear boxes at all sites.

For the price, location and facilities can芒鈧劉t fault it. Had a campsite on the north side for a 20 foot campervan. Facilities were super clean. Would recommend.

Stop and go traffic jams are a huge problem. Thousands of cars drive right by this campground coming and going from West Yellowstone. Traffic noise is a problem if you get assigned a site on the north end. Nice NPS campground with restroom, store and dump station. No cell or internet. Best to see the park in the late afternoon after the crowds head back to where they are going to spend the night. MAKE RESERVATIONS OR YOU WILL NOT GET A CAMPSITE.

Most sites are little curves to the road which can make unhooking a little difficult. Location was good to the rest of the park. Park is well done, rangers patrol regularly, and generator use is monitored. Bathrooms have dish sink also. We would definitely come back.

Wooded campsite in a nice location to explore Yellowstone. We stayed here two nights in May without reservations, but both night the campground filled up by mid-afternoon. It was busy. I can芒鈧劉t imagine how busy it will be in the middle of summer.
We paid $28 per night, no hook-ups, no showers.

Crowded, but it's Yellowstone. Spent 3 nights here. Close to west Yellowstone, so not that far for supplies without fighting traffic in the park

Jammed in with no view, no shower, no hook ups, long wait to check in and even with long line made to listen to speech re bears. Given spot not suitable for our trAiler and truck and then given hard time about getting out of the way for thru traffic. 25.00 for that.
