Well maintained and clean grounds and facilities. Several freshwater spigots along the paved campground loop road, each has a faucet with hose threads and a backflow preventer, for filling RV freshwater tanks. Per previous review, I can confirm no useable Verizon reception but AT&T voice & data is very good. Free campfire wood at host site (posted limit 12 pieces per day). Most campers had boats and so there was a lot of activity moving boats on trailers to and from the nearby boat ramp morning and evening. Few people in the campground during the day because many are out boating/fishing. Day use area is only lightly used (possibly because of it’s distance from the highway and lack of prominent signs at the highway). Camp Hosts are friendly and competent. An official notice on the campground bulletin board states the rates may be increased in 2019, but as of June 30 that has not happened (still $10/night, not including 50% discount for federal pass).

We were looking for a place to stay in the general area to break up a long drive. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a Sunday night in late July in our 25 foot MH.

This is a pleasant, small campground, secluded on the shore of the Clark Fork. The sites are quite large and level and most are quite private with trees for shade. There's no wifi. There's usable ATT service and no Verizon service. The host was friendly and helpful. We were aware of trains passing across the river, yet they did not keep us awake.

There's a boat launch and day area with swimming a short walk from the campsites. The views of the Clark Fork are beautiful.
