I would actually rate this with zero stars, however that was not an option. Jerk for an owner. Rude and cussed at me, a pregnant woman asking to use the bathroom because nothing in Garrison was open. No empathy or even friendly. Charged a dollar to use the crappy bathroom. Yelled at us in front of his own customers. Campground sucked and the bathrooms were disgusting. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Nice park, spots are very large easy to get in and out. Price is great, views of the mountains on all sides. River runs beside the park. Very peaceful, don't use amenities so can't comment on that. Near the interstate but can hardly hear it and the train seldom goes by. Here in July and surprised that it's so cool love it. WiFi upload speed was 5 mb no cable TV nor antenna reception

Nice quiet place, good view of the mountains, wifi worked but was a little slow. overall nice place would stay here again.

We only stayed one night so I cannot comment on how family friendly it was or wasn't. It was a clean and quiet place. Internet worked well, unlike most campgrounds. The only problem I have with the place is the complete lack of privacy in the washrooms. Toilet stalls have saloon type doors that don't even lock! I've never seen any thing like it. If they could improve privacy in the washrooms, everything would be fine.

Not family friendly! This may be a place to stay for a night or two if you're passing through but do not stay any longer, especially if you have children! My family had to stay in the area and being it so early in the year, this was the only campground open. At first, the guy that owns the place seemed nice enough but after just a couple days began getting extremely uptight over EVERYTHING! A game room is advertised on the website but it is obviously only for adults because if one thing is out of place your children will get yelled at. I have always received comments about how well behaved my kids are until we came here and I was accused of not disciplining my children after one of them left the door to the gameroom cracked open and he was, "Heating the outside world." I could understand a little better if they were doing something destructive but this guy goes way over the top. I have never had someone complain about us using the services we are paying for either but this was yet another bad experience we were faced with while staying here. Forget the fact that "free wifi throughout the entire park," is advertised on their website and you must be right by the office in order to connect. The attitude of this guy alone is a good enough reason that we will never stay here again.
