Overall we were happy with this campground. The spaces were large and far apart. There is a nice walking path around the campground. It was a little buggy, to be expected. We did not use the showers or bathrooms, but they appeared pretty new. If you aren’t a boater, not a ton to do in the area, at least in the current times. The interpretive center was still closed. If you go, drive up to the dam, really interesting memorial and story.

Four stars because the park needs a lot of attention. Possibly because of the COVID shut down, cleanup and maintenance are neglected. We stayed 3 night with 50 amp and water. Dump station is on the main road just before entering the park.

Beautiful campground with great facilities - plenty of room between sites. The Fort Peck interpretive Center is within walking distance. We will definitely come back to this campground. We had lunch at the Gateway Lodge restaurant ~5 miles from here - very good.

We had a back in site with lots of room around us. 50amp power. We were at the back of the camp, and I recommend when booking you try to get closer to the water with maybe a view. When we were here the area was infested with mosquitos. So bring Off. The mosquitoes here bite during the day so be sure you spray. Lovely lovely sites in this area. Be sure you take the power plant tour. Bring groceries. There is literally nothing in this area.

Awesome CG in the middle of no where. I asked a local for a good place for seafood. She said, McLobster aka Mc Donalds. I laughed but she was right. No good restaurants within 40 miles.
